OCTOBER 19, 2002: The men's hockey team saw its one millionth fan come through the
turnstiles at the Kohl Center, as it defeated Alabama Huntsville, 3-2. Since 1963, the Badgers
have welcomed more than 8.7 million fans to their home games, including an NCAA-record
316,041 during the 2009-10 season.

HELPING OUT
OCTOBER 22, 1976: The men's hockey team set the team record for most assists in a
period with 14 in the third period against Western Ontario.
GO LONG
OCTOBER 23, 1993: Darrell Bevell threw for 423 yards against Minnesota, setting the
Badgers' single-game record for passing yards in a game.
BRICK WALL
OCTOBER 23, 1999: Chanda Gunn and Jennifer Neary combined for 15 saves in the firstever shutout by the women's hockey team. UW blanked Wayne State, 5-0.
