Confidence at all-time
high after huge weekend
Badgers displaying resilient attitude in 2013
own 3-1 with 22:59 remaining on the clock, it
looked as if the Wisconsin men's soccer team would
suffer its first home loss of the
season on Friday night to Indiana in front of a Homecoming
crowd of 1,512 at the McClimon Complex.
But the Badgers had other
plans in mind.
UW erupted for three unanswered goals in the final
18 minutes, including a gamewinning header from AJ Cochran, to cap an amazing, 4-3,
comeback victory and remain
unbeaten at home.

in the second half, UW did
not abandon its belief that the
match was still winnable.
"You never know if you're
going to win," senior Tomislav
Zadro said. "The ball can roll
either way. We always believe
that we can put ourselves in
the situation to win the game."
The Badgers have done just
that this season, failing to lose
by more than two goals in
both games they've dropped
and holding opponents to 1.55
goals per game.
Although the resiliency the
Badgers have shown thus far
has given the team a big boost,

NCAA champion in dramatic fashion may
have given UW the confidence they need
to push for a run in November.
"We wanted to prove that we could
hang with (Indiana)," Zadro explained.
"We came back and showed that we can
play with the best."
That attitude, along with the mentality
that UW can compete with any team in
the country, is a feature that the Badgers
must sustain in order to continue their
success moving forward.
"It took everything we had to get those
goals back (against IU) and keep pushing," sophomore Drew Conner said." I'm
so proud of this team."
