SEPTEMBER 16, 1981: The women's soccer team defeated Beloit College 18-0 to record
the most goals scored by a team in a single game and the largest margin of victory. The
win also marked the Badgers' first varsity win as a program.
COMEBACK KIDS
SEPTEMBER 15, 1984: The football team recorded its biggest comeback in school history with a 35-34 win over Missouri. The Badgers trailed 28-7 with 4:42 to play. Richard
Johnson set the single-game blocked kicks record with three in the contest.
BLOCKING THE OPPOSITION
SEPTEMBER 16, 1986: Julie Fautsch, of the volleyball team, set the Big Ten individual
single-match record for most block solos with nine against Juniata.
