Trailing 2-1 for most of the second half, Wisconsin's
Tomislav Zadro capped off a thrilling sequence of events
by tallying the game-tying score at the 89:59 mark during
Sunday's match against DePaul, leaving just a second on
the clock. UW eventually earned the game-winning goal
two minutes and 19 seconds later in overtime.

The Wisconsin quartet of Jacob Erschen, Malachy Schrobilgen, Jacob Naylor and Neal
Berman grabbed the top four spots at the Badger Opener by crossing the finish line
together with identical 6K times of 18 minutes and 18 seconds, propelling the
Badgers to the team title in their season-opening meet.

Against Northern Iowa on Sept. 6,
the Badgers rallied to win a fiveset match after losing the first two
sets for the first time in 10 years.
The last time Wisconsin came back
from two sets down was vs. Northwestern on Sept. 26, 2003.

Wisconsin and Arizona State enter Saturday's matchup tied for the national lead in
scoring defense with 0 points allowed so
far in 2013. The Sun Devils shut out Sacramento State in their opener last Thursday,
while the Badgers are the nation's lone
team to post back-to-back shutouts to
open the season. Wisconsin (162.5 yards
allowed per game) and Arizona State (167)
also rank 1-2 nationally in total defense.
