Programs and activities throughout the year —
new academic initiatives, student engagement
opportunities, fundraising support and centen-
nial celebration — helped bring the mission
to life. Whether it was the creation of a Student
Innovation Lab in Charlotte or students
giving relief to flood-ravaged communities near
Denver, the development of a radio station in
Providence or an exchange program between
students in North Miami and Rotterdam, JWU
put the mission into action.
Johnson & Wales University celebrated the 100th anniversary
of its founding during the 2013–2014 academic year,
embracing its mission to provide students with an
exceptional education that inspires professional success
and lifelong personal and intellectual growth.
