BY THE NUMBERS
FOOTBALL
No team in the nation is running the ball as efficiently as Wisconsin,
which has averaged 6.95 yards per carry through its first seven
games. Oregon ranks No. 2 nationally at 6.92 yards per carry.
Sophomore RB Melvin Gordon is a big reason for UW's big yardage,
averaging a nation-leading 9.5 yards per carry. Senior RB James
White ― who is on pace to smash UW's career rushing average
record at 6.12 ― is averaging 6.2 yards per attempt this season.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY
During Wisconsin's run of 14 straight Big Ten titles,
the Badgers have claimed a championship on the
home courses of all 11 Big Ten teams. That includes taking the 2002 race at Purdue, where the
2013 Big Ten Championship will be held Sunday.
Mark Zengerle, who has
tallied 122 career points
for the Cardinal and White, is
one point shy of earning the
most points of any Badgers
player during the Mike
Eaves era.
MEN'S SOCCER
Following their shutout of Michigan State on
Sunday, the Badgers hit the 10-win plateau for the
second time during the John Trask era. In the
decade prior to Trask's arrival in 2010, the Badgers
eclipsed the 10-win mark just three times.
