Butrym liked the way everyone responded at halftime; especially considering how Michigan State had taken advantage of numerous mistakes in the second quarter to grab the momentum. "We took a personal inven-
tory,'' he said. "It was like, 'OK, this is the kind of adversity that we haven't faced yet this year.' I spoke with Aaron Henry, 'This is the time when we need to be lead- ers.'
"Everybody stepped up, including guys who typically aren't very vocal, like Mike Taylor. You could feel that it was contagious. "And there was never the belief in the second half that we were out of it. As a team, we got back into the game. But unfortunately the ball literally didn't bounce our way in the end. "You move on from it, but you learn from it. That's the mindset we're taking.'' How will the Badgers bounce back at Ohio State on Saturday night? "These kinds of games can define you one way or another,'' Butrym said. "I know what kind of team that we have and I know that the guys on
