BY THE NUMBERS The Badgers won the lightweight eight for the third-consecutive year at the Head of the Charles 34 9 FOOTBALL Junior running back Montee Ball has scored at least one touchdown in each of his last 13 games, scoring 34 times in that span. The next highest total in the FBS is Oregon's LaMichael James and Temple's Bernard Pierce with 22. WOMEN'S SOCCER Freshman forward Cara Walls has scored nine goals this season for the Badgers, the most by a fresh- man since Allison Wagner had nine in 1997. Wisconsin has one game remaining in the regular season before opening play in the Big Ten tournament next week. 10 MEN'S HOCKEY In Wisconsin's sweep of North Dakota, the Badgers' 10 goals were scored by a total of nine different players. Sophomore Mark Zenger- le was the lone UW skater with two goals on the weekend, which was UW's first sweep over the Fighting Souix since 2006. 16:53 14 ยป VARSITY OCTOBER 27, 2011 WOMEN'S LIGHTWEIGHT ROWING The Badgers won the lightweight eight race at Boston's Head of the Charles regatta with a time of 16:53.08, more than 23 seconds ahead of second-place Stanford. The win was the third-straight for UW in the event and the third win for a Wisconsin boat at the renowned regatta.
