5 THINGS TO WATCH THURSDAY • 8 PM • ESPN2 Pan-American Badgers Former Badgers Greg Stiemsma and Brian Butch are competing for Team USA at the Pan American games in Guadalajara, Mexico. The team began play Wednesday with three preliminary round games. Thurs- day's game against Brazil will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 8 p.m., while Friday's contest with Uruguay will be on ESPN Deportes at 6:30 p.m. FRIDAY / SATURDAY • 2 PM • InsideBadgerSports.com A championship-style rematch The top-ranked women's hockey team welcomes Boston University to Madison for a rematch of last year's NCAA Frozen Four championship game. Friday is also Kids Day at the Kohl from 12-2 p.m. at the Kohl Center. Interactive sports activities will be available for kids of all ages, many staffed by UW student-athletes. Admission is free. FRIDAY / SATURDAY • 7 PM • FSN / TVW & Charter Extra Making their inagural visit Fresh off a sweep of No. 5 North Dakota, the men's hockey team returns to the ice to face Nebraska Omaha. The young Badgers look to stay hot as they welcome the Mavericks to Madison for the first time as WCHA foes. Friday's game will air live on FSN Wisconsin, while Saturday's con- test can be seen on TVW in Madison and Charter Extra statewide. FRIDAY • 7 PM • InsideBadgerSports.com Land of Lincoln roadtrip The volleyball team embarks on its second-to-last road trip of the season with games at Illinois and Northwestern. The Badgers started their three- game road swing on a high note with a 3-1 win at Indiana Saturday. UW is 5-5 in Big Ten play, impressive considering seven conference teams have been ranked in the AVCA Coaches Poll this season. SATURDAY • 7 PM • ESPN It doesn't get any easier The No. 12 Badgers play their second-straight road game as they visit Ohio State under the lights at the Horseshoe. This will be Wisconsin's second game against a Leaders Division foe after defeating Indiana two weeks ago.
