���We���ve always been like that,������ he said, speaking
for Showalter. ���We���ve always been energetic players. We love running and moving without the ball.
That���s two things we bring to the table.������
Showalter understands his role and what is expected of him.
���I think I���m what Coach (Ryan) likes, which helps
me a lot,������ Showalter said. ���I try to do what Coach
says guys aren���t doing, if that makes sense.
���If he���s seeing something is not being done, I try
to come in and bring toughness and stuff. I try to
give him what he wants. That���s what I���ve been focusing on lately.������
Showalter recognizes that Dekker has a different
role, if not different expectations.
���He���s a helluva player ��� as you���ve all seen,������ he
said.
Dekker is also well-grounded for having had
such a high recruiting profile.
���He���s always had a good head on him and good
parents who instilled that at a young age,������ said

Showalter, noting their simple credo. ���Play your
(bleep) off and let your game speak for itself.������
Showalter initially committed to the Badgers as
a walk-on before going on scholarship.
