The 2009 team won 51 games that season, the fourth- most in program history and the most for the Huskies under Tarr. Following the 2009 record- setting season, Tarr and her staff were named the NFCA Coaching Staff of the Year and the Pacific Region Coaching Staff of the Year. A four-year letterwinner at Washington, she helped lead the Huskies to a runner-up finish at the 1996 WCWS and a third-place finish in 1997.
