2018 PAC-12 SOFTBALL // REVIEW 29 2 0 1 7 – 2 0 1 8 NCAA TOURNAMENT RESULTS Double Elimination Three Pac-12 teams advanced to the NCAA Women's College World Series in 2017. UCLA fell to Washington, 1-0, on June 3rd while the Bruins and Ducks made it to the semifinal matches where Oregon fell to LSU, 4-1, and Washington fell to the eventual National Champions Oklahoma 3-1. Eight league teams earned berths to the NCAA Tournament, marking the 21st-straight season the Pac-12 has had five or more teams advance to the postseason. The eight selections are tied for the most in league history. Washington's Ali Aguilar and Oregon's Alexis Mack and Mia Camuso were named to the Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team Arizona took the regular season title totaling its 11th Conference championship in pro- gram history, and first since 2007. Utah's Hannah Flippen and Arizona's Katiyana Mauga were named the 2017 Pac-12 Co-Players of the Year. Arizona senior Danielle O'Toole was voted Pac-12 Pitcher of the Year. Flippen also garnered Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honors and was crowned the Pac-12 Batting Champion. UCLA's Rachel Garcia was tabbed Freshman of the Year and Arizona head coach Mike Candrea was voted Coach of the Year.
