I knew there was an opening (at Wisconsin),'' said the 25-year-old Krabbenhoft. "I talked to my wife about it, and it was like, 'Should we give them a call?' They wound up contacting me and that meant a lot. "There were a lot of conversations between
me and Sara; a couple of late nights trying to do what is best. But it was really a no-brainer when it came down to it and it was an easier decision than we made it out to be. We wanted to make sure we made the right decision, and we did.'' Krabbenhoft is anxious to learn more about
the technology involved in his new assign- ment. Beyond that, the video coordinator posi- tion looms as a stepping stone to the coaching profession. Chambliss followed a path taken by Duffy Conroy (UW-Milwaukee) and Will Ryan (North Dakota State). "I always looked at coaching as a way to give back to the game,'' Krabbenhoft said, "and give back to the players so they can experience what I did. Playing for Coach Ryan – and figuring out how to be successful at this level – is going to kind of pave my way to what kind of coach I'm going to be.''
