W
isconsin volleyball coach Pete Waite is confident No. 13 will be more of a charm than a curse. "I'd say right now we're in the rebuilding stage,'' said
Waite, who's entering his 13th season at Wisconsin. "But we're on the way back; we're rebounding from three years that have been tough.''
The Badgers last made the NCAA tournament in 2007. "It's been kind of the perfect storm,'' he said. "Some years things fall into place. There are no injuries and the personnel works out well together. Other years it's the opposite. "It's kind of what we went through. We're trying to get back to the NCAA tournament and it's an uphill battle with the Big Ten as tough as it is. But we're excited about who we've got in the gym.''
