One of the most and greatest experience we have had in our lives. Third place for a rookie Peruvian team in such an event like the Denver Cup, it is something we are very proud of. AFIS RuSh PERu For more information about aFiS Rush Peru Soccer Club: www.rushsoccer.com What impressed us the most from this beau ful country during the Denver Cup 2014, it was the kindness with which we were treated, star ng from our President, Mr. Tim Schulz and the South america Technical Director Jair Vasquez who received us at the airport. Mr. Tim had the great gesture of hos ng us at his house for 3 days, trea ng us very well in all respects. Many thanks to the hos ng families: Osborne, McWilliams, Shea, Tater, Ligh oot and Wing. We were very impressed about the respect and kindness from the tournament organizers, spectators, referees, opponents. even though we were 7,000 kilometer away from home, people from Denver made us feel at home. Here is our record: Lost 3-1 vs Honduras Rush, win 2-0 vs Utah FC 97, e 0-0 vs Utah arsenal. Our last game playing for the third place we ended up winning 3-2 in Pk's vs Utah arsenal. For most of our kids it was the first me they got in an airplane, first me playing in a different country, first me on almost everything. Because all of these reasons, we are very proud of the results. "a er this experience, our expecta ons are higher for the next year and hopefully we will win the tournament in 2015," said ivan Saavedra, head coach. FeeL THe RUSH aT MUMBai RUSH SC!!
