C O M As I've shared many times, The Rush has a Vision Statement that reads: "Our aim is to part- ner with like-minded clubs around the world and create a player base which is unmatched in both quality and quantity, which in turn is used to develop elite level players that will eventu- ally feed into a Rush professional team representing one of the most recognized brands in the world." Let's focus on the pro team. This is an ambitious goal, daunting almost, but we are on our way. Established in 2004, the Rush has had this vision since day one. Where are we on the construction of this massive pyramid? • We are the largest club in the world. No one has a membership imprint like the Rush. • We have three giant partners that believe in our vision: adidas, Chevrolet and Soccer.com. • Between all of the clubs, we have produced 36 professional players. • Our core values are in alignment with our future pro team. • We have a corporate staff of 11 and growing, all positioned to provide support to the operations of the pro team. • We, the partner clubs, voted to provide financial support to the mystery club in the mystery city. We do not have an opening date in mind or a city selected. No matter. We have too much work to do. Our base operations and functions must be a finely tuned machine. Our target was to have 60,000 members (now at 35,000) before we entertained the necessary steps to cap off the pyramid. We are closing down the gap. I can see it.
