FEBRUARY 27, 2002: Wisconsin clinched a share of its first Big Ten title since 1947 with a 7454 win over Michigan at the Kohl Center. Devin Harris and Kirk Penney each scored 21 points
and hit four 3-pointers. With the victory, the Badgers earned their first-ever No. 1 seed in the
Big Ten tournament.

WIN OVER THE WOLVERINES
JANUARY 21, 1989: The men's basketball team upset sixth-ranked and
eventual national champion Michigan, 71-68, at the Field House.
CAN'T MISS
JANUARY 14, 1998: The men's basketball team tied the NCAA record for
consecutive 3-point field goals made, connecting on its first 11 attempts
against Michigan. The Badgers tied the record with Eastern Kentucky and
Niagara, who both accomplished the feat in 1987.
