do that, Jackson said. A lot of that has to do with me. I didnt play well at all in this game (against Ole Miss). My teammates kind of look to me to get their shots and I have to do a better job. Frank Kaminsky, a 6-foot-11 sophomore, shared his frustration. The one thing we can take away from this is that we have to be tougher for 40 minutes, Kaminsky said. Its going to sting for awhile. Im disappointed in myself. I felt I could have done more. Kaminsky will get a chance to do much more next season given that hes the only big with any appreciable playing experience and the Badgers must replace the frontcourt trio of Berggren, Brusewitz and Evans. Im still trying to get myself stronger because I know I have two years ahead of me, said Kaminsky, who confided that he also must mature emotionally. Not Dekker. I honestly thought every shot that I took was going in, he said in Kansas City. It felt that good. Besides seeing the basketball as being halfway down the cylinder instead of halfway out, a refreshing take, he said, Close never counts. It has to go in. We have to put the ball in the hole. Now were looking at what-ifs and, when youre looking at it that way, you JOHN FISHER Sam Dekker scored 14 points against Ole Miss.Hes as good as any freshman out there, Berggren said. The sky is the limit for him. 42 VARSITY MAR CH 28, 2013
