Postseason still an option Badgers rally around ���Finish Strong��� mantra Wisconsin counting down regular season That���s a lot of minutes W ith only five games remaining in the regular season, the Badgers have a motto: ���Finish Strong.��� ���I think if we played some teams we played in the beginning of the year now, it might be a different situation,��� UW head coach Bobbie Kelsey said. ���But you want 50 �� VARSITY �� Wisconsin can still compete in the 2013 post season but needs to win four of its remaining five regularseason games. Four wins would give the Badgers a 15-14 mark heading into the Big Ten tournament. In order to compete in the NCAA tournament, participating teams must be above .500 for winning percentage while teams in the WNIT must be .500 or better. FEB R UA RY 14, 2013 your team to always be getting better throughout the year. You don���t want them to go the other way. That���s why we have the ���Finish Strong��� bracelets.��� The team is wearing black wristbands with the words ���Finish Strong��� on them as a constant reminder to end the season on a positive note. �� Sophomore Jacki Gulczynski played all 50 minutes in the Badgers��� double-overtime game at Ohio State on Feb. 7, setting a school record for most minutes played in a game. The 6-foot-1 forward leads the Big Ten in league games, averaging 40.4 minutes per game. She has played 39 or more minutes her last 10 games.
