Chance to clinch home
ice playoffs on the line
Badgers host Bulldogs for pivotal weekend
B
adgers fans must have
gotten word of how important this weekends series against Minnesota Duluth will be.
Both Saturday and Sundays games are sold out, the
first time an entire weekend series has sold out at
LaBahn Arena. And having
that crowd support will be a

huge boost for the team this
weekend.
Wisconsin has a chance to
clinch home ice for the first
round of WCHA playoffs.
There are some situations
in which the Badgers clinch
home ice without playing
well, but its always better to
place your fate into your own
hands.

If the Badgers sweep, or get one
win and a tie with a shootout win,
against Minnesota Duluth, they will
clinch home ice regardless of what
else happens in the conference.
However, with Wisconsin playing
on Saturday and Sunday, and depending on how the North DakotaOhio State series goes, the Badgers
could know following Saturdays
game whether or not theyll be at
home that first weekend of March.
As Badgers fans pack into LaBahn
Arena on Saturday and Sunday, they
should be ready to cheer loudly for
their team, because if things go right,
theyll get another chance March 1-3
to cheer on the Badgers again this
season in LaBahn Arena.
Sunday serves as Senior Day
On Sunday, five Badgers will step
onto the ice at LaBahn Arena for
the last regular-season home game
of their careers: Jordan Brickner,
Brianna Decker, Alev Kelter, Saige
Pacholok and Lauren Unser.
