Team USA in Finland Five Badgers win gold with U.S. at Four Nations
for the 2012 Four Nations Cup in Finland. Starting the tournament
off, Rigsby earned her first start, win and shutout with the senior women's national team in its 4-0 win over Swe- den. In last Friday's game
against Finland, Decker and Knight scored four goals
apiece, with Decker also being named Player of the Game for the U.S. Vet- ter made nine saves in the the 15-1 blowout. Vetter got the starting nod for the gold-medal game against Canada on Sunday, turning away all 26 shots en route to a 3-0 victory for the U.S. Knight also tallied a power-play goal to give the Americans a 2-0 lead in the second period. In all, Knight led all players at
the 2012 Four Nations Cup with six goals, while Decker was second in goal scoring with five.
Ohio State hosts Wisconsin in Schottenstein Center
» This weekend's games against Ohio State will be played in the Schottenstein Center, instead of the OSU Ice Rink, in part of a hockey doubleheader promotion by Ohio State. Admission to the games is free, and fans attending the women's games will receive free admission to the men's game against Northern Michigan.
