Chris Borland was one of
four finalists for the Lott
IMPACT Trophy, which
honors the top defensive
player in the country for
their exploits on and off
the field. At the ceremony
held in Newport Beach,
Calif., he shared the stage
with Anthony Barr of UCLA,
Devon Kennard of USC,
Iowa's James Morris and
the award's namesake, the
legendary Ronnie Lott.
