WHAT IS A MAVERICK?
Being a Maverick means different things to different people. We want to know what it means to you.
Between now and September 1, 2019, students, alumni, faculty, staff and Maverick fans are asked to describe what being a Maverick means to them, and propose a name for the new 1,225 pound Maverick statue located on the east side of the Maverick Center. The contest winner and statue’s new name will be unveiled during Homecoming. The winner will receive a year-long, all events access pass from CMU and a $100 gift card to The Maverick Store.
