MARCH 1968: Sophomore center Bert DeHate
(St. Paul, Minn.) became the first Badger to win
the national scoring title. He tallied 47 goals
and 77 points in the 1967-68 season, including
a school-record seven hat tricks.
MARCH 30, 1969: Wisconsin joins
the WCHA, becoming the ninth
member of the most prestigious
league in Division I college hockey.

MARCH 1970: Wisconsin makes its first NCAA

Defenseman John Jagger (Sault Ste. Marie,
