"He'll take notice of the things that are going on, and the details of what he has to do to win. You give him another year of maturity and you put him in that environment — with the travel throughout the world — and he's more exposed, more knowledgeable and more grown up, I want to say.'' Thielke was saying many of the same things about his OTC experience. "Wrestling Greco,'' he said, "and just wrestling those guys that have been wrestling for so long and have been training in that specific style for so long was a really good experience; especially when I went overseas with the team.
