The Badgers wrapped up the non-conference season at 12-1, one of the program's best-ever starts. Waite wins No. 300 » Wisconsin head coach Pete Waite won his 300th match at Wisconsin on Sept. 15 with a 3-1 victory over South Alabama. Waite is 300-132 (.694) in his 14th season at UW, ranking as the all-time leader at Wisconsin in wins and winning percentage. He is also 566-234 (.707) in his 25th season as a head coach overall. Waite ranks 21st among active coaches in number of career wins and 26th in career winning per- centage. Hickey picks up 1,000 digs » Junior Annemarie Hickey picked up career dig No. 1,000 against South Alabama on Sept. 15. Hickey becomes just the 12th Badger play- er to tally 1,000 digs in a career. Hickey ranks fourth on the UW career record list in digs per set at 3.73. She currently has 1,004 digs in her career.
