Badger balling in Beantown Former Badger Greg Stiemsma and the Celtics look to hold off the upset- minded Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Stiemsma has seen time in every playoff game and is averaging 10 min- utes per game in his first trip to the postseason. The Celtics are looking to reach the Eastern Conference finals for the third time in five years.

When the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils face off Saturday in game three of the Eastern Conference finals, former Badgers Ryan McDonagh and Derek Stepan will look to get the Rangers closer to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 1994. McDonagh and Stepan were teammates for UW from 2008-10.

The 2012 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships were as excit- ing as it gets. The men's team mounted a comeback in the final race on its home track to win its 25th Big Ten title under head coach Ed Nut- tycombe. The championship drama will be replayed Sunday at 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. on BTN.

Rowing with the best
For the fifth-consecutive season, the women's rowing team will row at the NCAA championships. The Badgers will join 15 other crews in West Windsor, N.J., to race for a national championship. This year's selection marks the seventh time in eight seasons under head coach Bebe Bryans that the Badgers will race for the NCAA title.

Charting a championship course On the heels of an exciting Big Ten championships, the men's and wom- en's track teams run deep into the postseason at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships, June 6-9, in Des Moines, Iowa. Portions of the final three days of the meet will be carried live by ESPN3, while finals on Saturday, June 9, also will air live on ESPNU at 11 a.m.
