Wisconsin endured a difficult season on the mat, but the experience has six wrestlers primed for the Olympic trials

imilar to his approach on the wrestling mat as a three-time NCAA champion and Olympic silver medalist, Barry Davis has always been aggressive in his note-taking. Since his early years as an Iowa assistant in the late '80s, the Wis- consin head coach has filled countless notebooks and legal pads with whatever might pop into his head that he deems worth preserving and revisiting at some future point. Davis is also a pacer. When his mind is racing, when he can't sleep, Davis will pace from room to room – and from floor to floor – in his home as a means perhaps to walk off his anxiety. Needless to say, Davis has been doing a lot of note-taking and a lot of pacing over the last five months or so.
