COACHES BIOS COACHES BIOS FRESNO STATE WOMEN'S GOLF HEAD COACH .................................................................... She served as the tournament director for the 2003 Women's and the 2002 Men's Pac-10 Cham- pionship tournaments. She coordinated team prac- tices, recruiting and travel in addition to directing the academic programs, camps and clinics for both teams. Cates-Moore also assisted with scheduling and budget development and organized fundraising projects. A native of Dallas, Cates-Moore played at Washington State where she was a stellar student-athlete, earning All-American Scholar-Athlete honors three times. She represented the Pac-10 on an All-Star team that toured Asia and was named a team captain for the Cougars as a senior. An accomplished player, Cates-Moore won the Seattle City Amateur and Washington State Ama- teur Championships. Subsequently, she was granted a sponsor's exemption to play in the LPGA Safeco Clas- sic in Seattle that same year. She played professionally from 2000-03 on the Challenge and Future Tours, claiming second place in the Telluride Classic. Following graduation, Cates-Moore worked for three years at The Golf Channel as an associate producer. She conducted interviews with players from the PGA, LPGA, Nationwide and Championship Tours, in addition to producing features and working on live-television golf broadcasts. Cates-Moore earned a bachelor's degree in communi- cation with an emphasis in broadcast news from Wash- ington State's Edward R. Murrow School of Communi- cation in 1998. She is married to Travis Moore, the head golf profes- sional at San Joaquin Country Club, and they have a daughter, Addison. VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COACH .............................SECOND YEAR Holly Bare is in her second year as the women's golf volunteer assistant coach. A native of Myrtle Creek, Ore., Bare competed for Fresno State in 2004-05 during its inaugural year and graduated with a degree in Communications in 2005. Before joining the Bulldogs, she participated on Oregon State's women's golf team from 2002-04. Some of her recent accomplishments include winning the Fresno Outlaw Cup Women's Championship in 2008, competing in the USGA Women's Mid-Am Championships in 2009 and 2010 and the USGA Women's Public Links Championship in 2011 and most recently claiming the Fresno City Amateur Women's Championship in 2011. Bare graduated from Umpqua High School in 2000 and is currently a Financial Consultant with Thiesen Dueker Group/LPL Financial. ........................................................................................................................ STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH .....................FIRST YEAR Allan Williamson enters his first season strength and conditioning coach at Fresno State. Williamson works with men's and women's golf, men's and women's track and field, men's and women's cross country, and is the assistant for football, baseball, and men's basketball. Williamson was born and raised in Fresno and started his undergrad at Fresno Pacific before transferring to Fresno State. He is scheduled to graduate from Fresno State in the fall of 2011 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology. Williamson ran track and cross country for Fresno Pacific and Fresno State. ........................................................................................................................ ATHLETIC TRAINER .............................................. SEVENTH YEAR Sarah is entering her seventh year as an athletic trainer at Fresno State and fourth year with the women's golf program. She joined the staff in 2005 as an intern working with wrestling and softball. Since 2006, Tackett has worked with women's soccer and women's golf. Her primary responsibilities include working with both golf programs. She also oversees drug maintenance and she teaches in the Kinesiology Department at Fresno State.
