JEFFERSON DAHL
MEN'S HOCKEY
O
nce named Wisconsin's Mr. Hockey, it was
only fitting that Jefferson Dahl stayed home
and became a key member of the Wisconsin
men's hockey program. Elected an assistant captain
his senior season, Dahl helped bring the Badgers
berths in the NCAA tournament, a WCHA Final Five
title and the inaugural Big Ten tournament champi-
onship in his last two years.
When reflecting on what his fondest memory has
been over the course of his collegiate career, he'll al-
ways fondly remember the feeling of skating out onto
the home ice in Madison. Naturally, the captain also
cherished the importance of a great supporting cast.
"Playing at the Kohl Center with the atmosphere
was great," Dahl said. "But also, the connections
and long-term relationships I've made with friends,
coaches and academic staff."
An economics major, Dahl plans to head to Germa-
ny after graduation and pursue his dream of a pro-
fessional career in hockey.
