PLANNING FOR FALL AND WINTER BREAKS
The residence halls will remain open during Thanksgiving/fall
break, but the dining center will be closed. Residential Life will
host a Thanksgiving meal for students who are staying for the
break period.
Cedar Hall North and Cedar Hall South close for the winter break
at noon, Friday, December 20 and reopen Sunday, January 5 at
noon. During this period, the halls are completely closed and
students are not able to enter the buildings, so please plan ahead.
HELPING YOUR STUDENT EMBRACE CAMPUS LIFE
One of the best ways students can embrace campus life is to know
what's going on. The Charlotte Campus offers an Involvement
Network that is accessed through students' jwuLink accounts, as
well as a Campus Events Channel to keep students in the loop.
The network and channel feature announcements, Campus Safety
& Security notices, academic information, events, deadlines, news
and student activities.
Encourage your student to consult these sources regularly.
