CAMPUS RENOVATIONS
This summer, a number of renovations took place to enhance
the environment for our students, faculty and staff. Furnishing
upgrades occurred in the residence halls, computer labs, library
and student center, and additional access control card readers
and surveillance cameras were installed. Larger projects involved
the renovation of the bookstore, dining center, campus safety and
security dispatch office, and a new co-curricular classroom.
The Village Bookstore now includes an ultra-modern design with a
JWU theme, a new technology department and an expanded product
assortment.
Before and After
The dining center now includes private booths, captain's tables, new
millwork on all the serveries, acoustical enhancements and a Sirius
music system. New tabletops will soon be installed and chairs will be
refinished.
