adjunct professor of

Dr. David Sebastian,
dean of the seminary (dsebastian@anderson.edu),
has been preaching in a
variety of venues over the
past year. He preached at the opening chapel of Anderson University
School of Theology, the Tennessee
State Ministers' Meeting, revival at
Ravenna Ohio First Church of God
and the Northeast Ohio Minister's
meeting, St. Joseph Michigan First
Church of God, Best Practices
Conference for Indiana Ministries,
Mountain Park Church of God
(AZ), and Warner University chapel.
Sebastian also officiated at Dorothy
McGuire Williamson's Funeral (of
the McGuire Sisters) and also for her
husband (both in AZ), attended the
Fellowship of Evangelical Seminary
Presidents, and convened the Large
Church Roundtable of the Church
of God.
Dr. Greg Robertson,
associate professor of
Christian
theology
(garobertson@anderson.
edu), is honored to have
three entries (Church Ecclesiology),
Liberal Theology, and Secular/
Secularism/Secularization) published
in the newly released Global Wesleyan
Dictionary of Theology (2012) published by Beacon Hill Press of Kansas
City. Robertson also preached for the
Stained Glass Sermon Series at the
School of Theology and at churches
in Indiana and Ohio.
Dr. Guy Brewer, professor of pastoral theology (grbrewer@anderson.
edu), has been away from
the School of Theology
on sabbatical during the winter term
2013. Brewer's focus of study and
research during this season centers on
best practices for teaching in several
interrelated areas. Brewer has spent
time in consultation and classroom
observation at Asbury Theological
Seminary, Vanderbilt University, and
Christian Theological Seminary. In
April, he will visit with Dr. John
Paul Lederach, a world renowned
scholar in peace work at Notre Dame
University. Dr. Brewer is also specifically immersing himself in communities devoted to spiritual formation
and reconciliation. He participated
in a Shalem workshop and retreat
