Penn State visits for 2013���14 preview
F
irst-year program Penn
State takes its first trip
to Madison, Wis., for NCAA
men���s hockey games this
Sunday and Monday at the
Kohl Center. The Nittany Lions, who have victories over
Michigan State and Ohio
State this season, among
other teams, will be one of
the six programs competing
next season in the first year
of Big Ten hockey (Wisconsin, Penn State, Minnesota,
Michigan, Michigan State,
Ohio State).
Beginning next season,
the Badgers will meet PSU
four times a year, so the Nittany Lions will become a fimiliar foe to Badger hockey
supporters. For now, the

contests are, like every game
the rest of this season, important for the Badgers���
hopes at continuing on into
the NCAA postseason.
Penn State is 12-13-0 on
the season, including 1011 against NCAA Division I
competition. PSU carries a
seven-game winning streak
into the series, with three of
those wins agianst Division I
competition.
Coliseum Fun
�� Wisconsin will close out
the 2012���13 regular season with a series against
St. Cloud State at the Coliseum at Alliant Energy
