FOOTBALL The 16 offensive linemen that reported for fall
camp this week combined to weigh in at just over 2.5 tons. The O-line averages 321.4 pounds per player, with freshman Dan Voltz the lightest at 301 pounds and sophomores Rob Havenstein and Riki Ko- danko topping the chart at 342 each.
VOLLEYBALL Junior Annemarie Hickey returns as the Badgers' libero after
leading the Big Ten with 4.77 digs per set last season. Along with Hickey, UW returns five starters from last year's team as head coach Pete Waite begins his 13th season at Wisconsin.
64 OLYMPICS
Former Badger Evan Jager raced to an impressive sixth- place finish in the 3000-meter
steeplechase Sunday at the Olympics in London — in just his seventh attempt at the event. The performance by Jager was the best Olympic showing by a track athlete with UW ties in 64 years — since Lloyd La- Beach won bronze in the 100 meters at the 1948 Games, also in London.
