OREGON STATE BEAVERS 18 2016 PAC-12 BASEBALL MEDIA GUIDE // TEAMS PAT CASEY Career Record: 925-534-6 (27 years) Record at Oregon State: 754-421-5 (21 years) • Oregon State's all-time leader in career victories, led OSU to its seventh-consecutive postseason in 2015. • Named National Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season in 2007 after leading the Beavers to their second straight College World Series title. • Named both National and Pac-10 Coach of the year in 2006 after he led Oregon State to its first national title, their second NCAA championship all-time (men's cross country, 1961). • A 1990 graduate of George Fox College, he played at Portland from 1978-80, earning first team Pac-10 honors as an outfielder in 1979 and 1980. • A 10th-round pick by San Diego in 1980. he played seven seasons, reaching class AAA ball with the Calgary Cannons in 1985-86 and the Portland Beavers in 1987.
