OREGON STATE failed to win their third-straight title but did earn a runner-up finish. It was the 11th conference title for the Bruins and the fourth time in their program's history that they had 40 or more wins in a season. The Bruins, earning the program's first overall number one seed, made their 20th overall NCAA Tournament appearance and hosted a regional for the fifth time in the last six seasons. The Pac-12 had six teams make it to the NCAA Tournament, but all of them failed to make it out of the NCAA Regional. It marked the second-straight year that no Pac-12 teams were in the College World Series. ARIZONA junior Scott Kingery was named the Pac-12 Player of the Year and he became the first two-time batting champion since Brett Wallace in 2007-08. David Berg of UCLA was the Pitcher of the Year, leading the Pac-12 with a 0.73 ERA. He is one of only three players as a four-time first team all-Pac-12 honoree. USC's Garrett Stubbs was the Defensive Player of the Year, throwing out 54% of would-be base stealers. KJ Harrison of Oregon State led the Pac-12 with 58 RBI and was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. UCLA's John Savage led the team to their third Pac-12 title in five years and was named the Pac-12 Coach of the Year. NCAA REGIONALS Double elimination. Los Angeles Regional (Los Angeles, Calif.)
