4 Hawkeye fans, we've had a great year! If you weren't able to squeeze into your schedule a visit to one of the National I-Club spring banquets during the last three months, you probably haven't seen our "list of bests" for 2014-15. It's impressive. Actually, it's very impressive: It summarizes what will likely be a record-breaking year for the Hawkeyes in the annual Learfield Directors Cup competition, another record-setting year in terms of success in the classroom, and another year of "doing" intercollegiate athletics the right way. As always, there's still work to be done. That's one of the upsides of working in intercollegiate athletics. Every year presents a new opportunity to get better and to improve upon the previous year. That was our goal this year and it is our goal today as we prepare for the 2015-16 athletics year. I hope you have a great summer. Maybe I'll see you at Kinnick Stadium later this month for "Movie Night" or in August for "Kids Day" or on Labor Day Saturday when we open the 2015 college football season. As always, Go Hawks!
