With senior Dorcas Akinniyi winning the women's heptathlon title
and sophomore Zach Ziemek claiming the men's decathlon crown at
last weekend's Big Ten outdoor championships, Wisconsin became
the first school to win both the multi-events titles at the same Big
Ten meet. Along with the championships claimed indoors by senior
Jessica Flax in the women's pentathlon and junior Japheth Cato in
the men's heptathlon, UW is also the first program to sweep the Big
