GROUNDBREAKING FOR NEW HOTEL
The morning of October 3, 2018, students, faculty, staff and community members joined CMU President Tim Foster and the Board of Trustees for the groundbreaking of CMU's new hotel.
The Hotel Maverick will provide real-world, hands-on experience for hospitality management, marketing and culinary arts students. It is located just east of Confluence Hall, the engineering
building, and will have about 60 rooms and a restaurant. The hotel is expected to open in early spring of 2020.
