With all five starters back, ASU looks to be in good position to keep that streak alive. • With no seniors on the team last season, many of the Sun Devils had opportunities to gain experience, making this season's team one of the most veteran in the Pac-12. Seniors Charnea Johnson-Chapman, the team's top rebounder from a year ago, and All-Pac-12 performer Kiana Ibis, the team's leading scorer and one of the top-five most efficient scorer's in the Pac-12 last season. A threat down low, she is the team's active leader in points, rebounds and blocks, leading the team in scoring last year. That consistency in the lineup will be to Arizona State's advantage. • A redshirt senior, returning-starter Courtney Ekmark comes back as one of the top threats from long range in the Pac-12, while junior Robbi Ryan was handed the toughest defensive assignment every night, helping ASU post the top defense in the Conference. • Juniors Reili Richardson and Kiara Russell were adept at distributing and taking care of the ball, with ASU boasting the 16th-best assist-to-turnover ratio in the country. Richardson was first in the league and fourth in the country with 3.46, and Russell right behind in second and 16th in the NCAA at 2.79. • Four signees join the Sun Devils in 2018-19, including Canadian standout Taya Hanson, who has been a member of the Canadian National Team since 2015. Ranked No. 18 in the country at her position, she will contribute immediately. Year School Overall Conf. Place/Conf 93-94 N. Arizona 12-15 6-8 4/Big Sky 94-95 N. Arizona 14-12 6-8 5/Big Sky 95-96 N.
