support staff 74 Ben Galley Athletic Trainer Antwaun Stuart Graduate Assistant Katie Garlick is in her third year serving as the Lady Flames' office administrator. In this role, she is responsible for a number of duties, including the team's budget, intercampus relations, and Coach Green's daily schedule. Garlick attended Liberty as an undergraduate, serving as an English tutor and holding membership in Phi Alpha Theta (history honor society). She graduated in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in social science. Garlick then served two years as an administrative assistant in Liberty's Office of Student Leadership, before joining the Lady Flames' staff in August 2010. "Growing up, athletics was a major part of my life," noted Garlick. "My dad coached my teams and is currently a high school softball coach. I love athletics and am thrilled to be involved with the women's basketball team. This is an exciting place to work, and I am surrounded by a great coaching staff and a wonderful group of players." TR AINING CHAMPIONS FOR CHRIST SINCE 1971 Katie Garlick Office Administrator Ben Galley is in his first year on the Lady Flames' staff, serving as the team's athletic trainer. An assistant athletic trainer at Liberty, Galley also works with the cheerleading program. Galley, who owns National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), comes to Liberty from the Bethlehem, Pa., area. He spent two years there (2010-12), working as a clinical outreach athletic trainer at local school districts. Galley is already familiar with Liberty, after graduating from the university with a bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2009. The following year, he earned a master's degree in athletic training from California (Pa.). While studying at California, Galley served as a graduate assistant ATC at Southmoreland High School. A native of Greensburg, Pa., Galley and his wife, Katie, were married in June 2010. A familiar face to the Liberty women's basketball team, Antwaun Stuart will serve as the Lady Flames' graduate assistant this season. Stuart previously spent two and a half years as a member of the Lady Flames' male practice squad, before graduating from Liberty with a bachelor's degree in sport management in 2012. Now pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Liberty, Stuart originally hails from Paterson, N.J. He graduated from Passaic County Technical Institute, where he played basketball and football. During his time as an undergraduate student, Stuart was active with the Push the Rock sports ministry.
