REDBIRD RADIO NETWORK / LOCAL MEDIA OUTLETS THE REDBIRD RADIO NETWORK REDBIRD RADIO NETWORK / LOCAL MEDIA OUTLETS LOCAL MEDIA OUTLETS FOR ISU FOOTBALL WJBC (AM 1230, FM 93.7), the fl agship station of Illinois State athletics, will broadcast every minute of Illinois State football action this season on the Redbird Radio Network. In addition, WJEZ (98.9 FM) out of Pontiac, Ill., will simulcast all Redbird football games to extend the listening area north on I-55 and into the Chicagoland area. Dick Luedke, the voice of Redbird football and men's basketball, will call all the action alongside color analyst and former ISU assistant coach Ted Schmitz. Bruce Evans will also join the broadcast with sideline reports and interviews and Gary Walter will serve as the lead statistician for broadcasts.
