MEDIA INFORMATION MEDIA INFORMATION VISITING RADIO Only the station deemed "offi cial" by the visiting team is offered space for live orig i na tion. Stations representing non-league opponents should contact Mike Williams regarding use of existing phone lines in the visiting radio booth. INTERNET ACCESS TELEPHONE LINES The Hancock Stadium press box and the Kaufman Football Building team room, where the postgame press conference is held, are both wireless Internet facilities. Please contact Mike Williams a week before the game to receive log-in information. There are two courtesy telephone lines available in the football press box and another two at the Kaufman Football Building for media use on a fi rst-come, fi rst-served basis. Media who wish to have their own phone line installed should contact Tom Beal at Telecommunications at (309) 438-7000. WEEKLY MEDIA AVAILABILITY All interviews should be arranged through the Athletics Communications Offi ce. Home and cell phone numbers for players and coaches will not be released, and they have been instructed not to conduct interviews if contacted without prior approval of the Athletic Communications Offi ce. The locker room and training room are closed to the media at all times. All phone interviews for out-of-town media will be conducted Tuesday and Wednesday through the Athletics Media Relations Offi ce. Please allow 24 hours in order to facilitate arrangements. Monday: Off day. Tuesday: At noon, Brock Spack and two players are available at the Kaufman Football building for the weekly media luncheon. In addition, all coaches and players are available following practice. Wednesday: Brock Spack participates in the Missouri Valley Football Conference Teleconference at 10:05 a.m. All coaches and players are available following practice. Thursday: Coaching staff available following practice. No player availability. Practice is open to photographers for the fi rst 15 minutes. Friday and Sunday: No availability. POSTGAME INTERVIEW PROCEDURES Postgame interviews following home contests are conducted in the team room (second fl oor) of the Kaufman Football Building. A golf cart is available to transport representatives from the visiting team to the interview area. TV lighting is also provided. After road games, rep re sen ta tives will be brought to a designated area. The Redbird locker room is closed at all times. VALLEY FOOTBALL TELECONFERENCE Teleconferences featuring the league's head coaches will be conducted each Tuesday during the season (Aug. 29 through Nov. 14). Those par tic i pat ing in the call should dial in fi ve minutes prior to the scheduled start time (10 a.m. CT each Tuesday). Each call is recorded.
