Cup is the fourth for Decker, but it marks the first time Rigsby has played for the se- nior national team. As the tournament started on Monday, the two start- ed off where they left off in Madison.
After posting three straight shut- outs with the Badgers, Rigsby re- corded nine saves for her first shut- out in her first start with the senior national team. Decker scored the first Badgers goal of the tournament, netting Team USA's fourth goal in its 4-0 win over Sweden. On Wednesday, Team USA was back in action against Canada, as the U.S. squad dropped a 3-1 decision to its northern neighbor. Former Badger Hilary Knight
scored the first goal of the game, but Canada went on to score three unan- swered goals to claim the win. All four teams take a break on Thursday and resume the final round of prelims on Friday, with the medal games scheduled for Saturday. Decker and Rigsby return to Wis- consin next week as the Badgers re- sume conference play with a road trip to Ohio State on Nov. 16-17.
