The first project seeking support through MavFunder is the Formula SAE car
being built by CMU engineering students.
CMU Foundation launches MavFunder
MavFunder is the official crowdfunding platform
for Colorado Mesa University. Crowdfunding is
the process of raising funds from a large number
of people for a specific project, typically through a
website. Those receiving the funds may enhance the
effectiveness of the campaign by sharing their project
through personal networks.
All crowdfunding projects featured on MavFunder
must be initiated by and benefit Colorado Mesa
University students, faculty or staff. MavFunder is
completely free to use so 100 percent of the funds
donated go to the specified project.
MavFunder enables donors to easily contribute to
projects that align with their philanthropic goals.
A new set of projects will be selected each semester.
