Mandy is in her third year as an assistant athletic trainer at Fresno State. She joined the staff in the summer of 2008 and her primary responsibilities include medical coverage for the women's basketball and Cheer programs. She also oversees a graduate assistant who covers the equestrian team. Administratively, Mandy acts as the Athletic Training Educational Program (ATEP) Facilitator and Physical Exam Co-Coordinator.
Prior to her arrival at Fresno State, Mandy spent a season at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Calif., working with the softball and women's novice crew teams. While at Saint Mary's, Mandy acted as the Secondary Insurance Coordinator for the athletic department. She also assumed the role of NCAA Drug Testing Liaison, and Student Volunteer Coordinator. Prior to working at Saint Mary's College, Mandy spent one year as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Texas, working with the men's track and field and cross country team. Prior to that she spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Kentucky, during which time she completed a master's of science degree in athletic training. It was during that time she worked as a graduate assistant at Transylvania University, and shared 14 DIII collegiate sports with the head athletic trainer. Prior to that, Mandy worked at the University of Florida as an athletic training Intern with men's and women's track and field after receiving her bachelors of science degree in athletic training from Fresno State in 2003.

Nathaniel (Nate) Ferrante is entering his second season as a strength coach at Fresno State. Ferrante works with women's soccer, women's lacrosse and women's tennis.
Ferrante, originally from Concord, Calif., earned both his bachelor's degree and master's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science from Fresno State in 2007 and 2011.
He is also certified by the United States Weightlifting Federation and by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
