Brad Floy is in his fourth season as an athletic trainer at Fresno State. He is responsible for the care and prevention of injuries as they relate to the Bulldog women's tennis program.
Last season Floy was with the 'Dogs as they captured their ninth WAC Championship in 10 years and made a run to the NCAA Sweet 16.
He specializes in lower extremity injuries, bio mechanics and motor control of walking. During his time at the University of Iowa, he researched spinal cord injuries and stroke patients.
During Floy's tenure, the Iowa Hawkeyes achieved excellence at the highest level as regular postseason contenders. In 2006, the Hawkeyes won the Big Ten Tournament championship and earned a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. As a No. 10 seed, Iowa also made the NCAA Tournament in 2005 after going to three-straight postseason NIT tournaments from 2002-2004.

NATE FERRANTE DANON BEATTY
Danon Beatty joins the Fresno State women's tennis team once again as a volunteer coach for Simon Thibodeau.
Beatty started playing tennis for Fresno State after transferring from Cal Poly in 2006, and continued playing until graduation in 2009. During her time as an athlete, Beatty had many accomplishments including second-team All-WAC selection in singles in 2007.
Beatty plans to help out the team by giving private lessons, going to group practices, traveling with the team to fall tournaments, and attending/coaching at home games during the spring.

Beatty is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and also volunteers with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Her passion for ASL led her to pursue a Masters in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education, which she hopes to complete in May 2012. Along with ASL, Beatty enjoys sleeping, going to the gym, spending time with friends and family, hiking, camping, anything outdoors.

Floy is assisted by athletic training student Christina Modica who is in her first season with the team. The 31-year-old is married to Erin Floy, who works as a physical therapist. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and working out.
Joe Waltasti
A native of Clear Lake, Iowa, Floy spent the previous seven years in the same position with the University of Iowa's men's basketball team while earning his Bachelor's of Science, Master's of Science and working toward his doctorate, all in exercise science. He recently completed his doctoral program at Fresno State.

Nathaniel (Nate) Ferrante is entering his second season as a strength coach at Fresno State. Ferrante works with women's soccer, women's lacrosse and women's tennis.

Ferrante, originally from Concord, Calif., earned both his bachelor's degree and master's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science from Fresno State in 2007 and 2011.
