head and neck surgery" and tzu- Ying Chuang, an MstP student, who presented a poster entitled, "Myeloid lRP1 Modulates Neu- roinflammation: applications for Multiple sclerosis." Former recipients of the Out- standing alumnus award joined together to present Christopher D. Casscells, MD '81, with the 2014 Outstanding alumnus award. Casscells has served as a member of both the UVa Medical alumni association Board of Directors and the UVa Medical school Foundation Board of trustees and currently serves as immediate past president of the Foundation. Casscells lives in Wilmington, Del., where he is a solo practitioner spe- cializing in joint replacement and arthroscopic sports medicine. Following the award presenta- tions, guests were entertained by the adrian Duke Band. as guests packed the dance floor, it was a fitting end to a celebration of another great year for the Univer- sity of Virginia school of Medicine and the UVa Medical alumni association and Medical school Foundation. save the date We're already looking ahead to next year!
