ANNUAL FUND The Medical Alumni Association is more active than ever before in the lives of our students. From the White Coat Ceremony to Graduation Weekend, we are there every step of the way with programs, events, and services. Our aim is to enrich the student experience with educational and social offerings that help define the student experience for this and future generations. Through the financial support of our donors, we are able to offer programs such as the previously mentioned White Coat Ceremony, Money Talks financial planning seminars for students and housestaff, the HOST program, exam breaks, the UVA MedConnect program, and the list goes on… The Annual Fund even provides scholarship support, including the Global Health Initiative which supports students traveling abroad to provide medical care to underserved populations. Of course, we are the Medical ALUMNI Association. As such, we offer a variety of programs and services to our alumni, including Medical Alumni Reunion Weekend, the Annual Meeting, regional events, opportunities to connect with students and network with colleagues, and so much more. Even communications like the newly redesigned MAA website and reinvented UVA School of Medicine Vitals magazine would not be available without the support of the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is the foundation for the School
